     Sorry for the delay in updates. I came home from AC with a cold after the walk on the Boardwalk in the rain the last night with other members of the National Committee to Elect Robert Picklesimer. You can see a few snapshots from this on Sweetie's OR Rural Letter Carriers' site. I was pleased and honored to have been a part of this campaign and meet some of the most wonderful people from across the country who came together in an attempt to move this association forward. You can read some thoughts on the election from Robert and others on Sweetie's site too.

     Robert Short from Nebraska wrote a very nice summary of the convention on his NE Rural Carriers' web site. I believe he just about covered it! I invite comments from Texas Delegates on their impression of the convention.

     As always, Emma had the updated National C&BLs and Resolutions passed at the convention posted on her TN Rural Letter Carriers' site along with results from the Officer elections almost before anyone else even got home. THANKS Emma! It was a pleasure to meet you!

     I am working on gathering some pictures (now starting to post) from this convention as well as previous meetings to post online. Look for yourself online soon <G>.
